This route brings together five Central Valleys landmarks in one day, combining nature, archaeology, Zapotec craftsmanship and Oaxaca’s mezcal tradition.
Choose the complete 8:00 AM departure or the 12:00 PM half-day departure. The 12:00 PM option does not include the Mitla archaeological site. Both include pickup from centrally located Oaxaca hotels and return to the city’s Zócalo.

See the ancient Montezuma cypress famous for its exceptionally wide trunk and learn why it is a symbol of Santa María del Tule.
Visit a family wool-rug workshop for a demonstration of loom weaving and natural dyes, followed by time in its gallery.
Take a guided walk through this Zapotec ceremonial center, noted for its intricate stone mosaics. This stop is included only with the 8:00 AM departure.
Stop at a regional buffet restaurant. Food and drinks are paid directly at the venue.
